- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 100 ml (scant 1/2 cup) water

Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Cut the tofu into rectangles about 1.5 cm (1/2 in) thick. Lay them on paper towels, blot the tops and let them drain for 10 min.
- 2
Heat the neutral oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Fry the tofu in a single layer, in batches if needed, 4-5 min per side, until golden. Move it to a plate.
- 3
In a bowl, stir together the soy sauce, water, gochugaru, sugar, garlic, sesame oil and half the green onions.
- 4
Put the tofu back in the pan in one layer and pour the sauce over it. Lower the heat to medium-low.
- 5
Simmer for 8-10 min, spooning the sauce over the tofu and flipping it once, until the sauce is glossy and reduced to a few spoonfuls.
- 6
Top with the sesame seeds and the remaining green onions. Serve warm or at room temperature.
