- 2 cm (1 in) fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick

Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Put the water, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and peppercorns in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 2
Lower the heat and simmer until the liquid smells strongly of spice, 10 min.
- 3
Take the pan off the heat, add the tea and leave to steep for 3-5 min until dark.
- 4
Meanwhile, heat the milk in another pan over medium heat until steaming with small bubbles at the edge. Do not let it boil.
- 5
Froth the milk with a frother or by whisking hard for 30 seconds.
- 6
Strain the spiced tea through a fine sieve into two mugs and stir the honey into each.
- 7
Pour in the hot milk, spooning the foam on top. Serve right away.
