5 steps
What you need
- 500 g (2 cups) plain whole-milk yogurt

- 2 tsp dried mint

- 4 sprigs fresh mint, for serving
- ice cubes, for serving
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Whisk the yogurt and salt in a large jug until completely smooth.
- 2
Rub the dried mint between the palms of both hands over the jug to crush it into the yogurt.
- 3
Whisk in the still water gradually until the drink is about as thin as milk. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir gently so it keeps its fizz.
- 4
Taste and add a pinch more salt if needed. It should taste clearly salty and sour.
- 5
Fill glasses with ice, pour in the doogh and add a mint sprig to each. Stir before drinking, since it separates as it stands.
