4 ingredients
5 steps
What you need
- 6 tbsp ketchup
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar, more to taste
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce and sugar in a small saucepan.
- 2
Warm over low heat, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved completely, 2-3 min. Do not let it boil hard.
- 3
Taste it. Add a little more sugar if it is too sharp, or a splash more Worcestershire sauce if it is too sweet.
- 4
Let the sauce cool to room temperature. It thickens a little as it cools.
- 5
Spoon it over breaded fried cutlets or croquettes. Keep leftovers in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
