Restated from the original video
- 1
Stir the olive oil, yogurt, 100 g sugar, egg, orange juice and lemon zest together in a large bowl.
- 2
Add the flour and baking powder, sifted together, and knead to a soft dough that is not sticky. Add a little more flour if needed. Rest for 30 min.
- 3
Mash the myzithra with 100 g sugar, the whole egg, the egg white and 1 tsp cinnamon until smooth.
- 4
Heat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line two baking trays with baking paper.
- 5
Roll the dough on a floured counter to 3 mm (1/8 in) thick. Cut out rounds with a 10 cm (4 in) cutter.
- 6
Put a spoonful of filling in the middle of each round. Lift the edges up and pinch them together in several places, leaving the center open.
- 7
Set the pastries on the trays and rest them for 20 min.
- 8
Brush the dough with the beaten egg and dust with the cinnamon.
- 9
Bake until golden, about 25 min.
- 10
Cool for 10 min, then drizzle with honey and serve.
