4 ingredients
6 steps
What you need
- 1 l (4 1/4 cups) water
- 4 jasmine tea bags, or 4 tsp loose jasmine green tea
- 4 tbsp honey, or to taste
- 1 lemon, sliced, optional
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Bring the water to a boil in a pot, then take it off the heat.
- 2
Add the tea and leave it to steep for 5 min. Steeping much longer makes it bitter.
- 3
Lift out the tea bags, or pour the tea through a fine strainer if using loose leaves.
- 4
Stir in the honey until it dissolves completely.
- 5
Pour into cups and add a slice of lemon to each if you like.
- 6
For iced jasmine tea, let it cool for 10 min, then pour it over glasses full of ice.
