5 ingredients
5 steps
What you need
- 2 tsp instant coffee
- 2 tsp sugar, use 1 tsp for medium sweet or leave it out
- 150 ml (2/3 cup) cold water
- 3 ice cubes
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) whole milk, optional
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Put the coffee, sugar and 2 tbsp of the cold water into a cocktail shaker or a jar with a tight lid.
- 2
Shake hard until it turns into a thick, pale brown foam, 20-30 seconds. A hand-held milk frother in a tall glass does the same job.
- 3
Pour the foam into a tall glass and drop in the ice.
- 4
Slowly top up with the rest of the cold water and the milk, letting the foam rise to the rim.
- 5
Serve straight away with a straw and stir gently before drinking.
