- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 150 g (1 1/2 cups) dry breadcrumbs, fine

- 250 ml (1 cup) sunflower oil, for shallow frying
- 1 lemon, cut in wedges, for serving
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Lay the beef between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound with a mallet to about 5 mm (1/4 in) thick.
- 2
Season both sides of each slice with salt and pepper.
- 3
Beat the eggs in a shallow dish with the garlic, parsley and a pinch of salt.
- 4
Spread the breadcrumbs on a large plate.
- 5
Dip a slice of beef in the egg and let the extra drip off.
- 6
Press the slice into the breadcrumbs, turn it and press again until fully coated. Set it on a rack and repeat with the rest.
- 7
Leave the coated slices to rest for 10 min so the crust sticks.
- 8
Pour about 1 cm (1/2 in) of oil into a large frying pan and heat over medium-high until a pinch of breadcrumbs sizzles at once.
- 9
Fry the slices 1 or 2 at a time until deep golden, 2-3 min per side. Do not move them while the first side cooks.
- 10
Drain on paper towels and serve right away with lemon wedges.
