- 1 egg
- 180 ml (3/4 cup) water, cool
- 400 g (14 oz) ground beef, or lamb

- 200 g (3/4 cup) sour cream

Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Mix the flour with 1/2 tsp salt in a large bowl. Add the egg and water, then knead for about 8 min into a stiff, smooth dough.
- 2
Wrap the dough and leave it to rest for 30 min.
- 3
Mix the beef with the onions, 1 tsp salt, the pepper and 3 tbsp cold water. Stir in one direction for 1-2 min, until sticky.
- 4
Stir the garlic and a pinch of salt into the sour cream, and set aside.
- 5
Roll out the dough on a floured surface until about 2 mm thick. Cut out circles 7-8 cm across, and re-roll the scraps.
- 6
Put a heaped teaspoon of filling in the middle of each circle. Pinch the edges together firmly so no filling can escape.
- 7
Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil, then lower to a steady simmer.
- 8
Drop in about 15 kurze at a time and stir once so they do not stick. Cook until they float and the filling is cooked through, 7-8 min.
- 9
Lift them out with a slotted spoon and toss with the melted butter. Repeat with the rest.
- 10
Serve hot with the garlic sour cream.
