Bavarian Radler, Half Lager and Half Lemon Soda

What you need

• 250 ml (1 cup) sparkling lemon soda, cloudy, very cold
• 250 ml (1 cup) light lager, very cold
• 1 slice lemon, optional, for the rim

Method

   Chill a 500 ml (16 fl oz) beer glass in the freezer for 10 min, or rinse it with cold water.

   Tilt the glass and pour in the lemon soda first.

   Pour in the lager slowly down the side, so the foam stays low.

   Do not stir. Set the lemon slice on the rim, if using, and drink while the bubbles are lively.
