What you need
- 120 ml (1/2 cup) extra-virgin olive oil
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, finely grated
- 1 tsp dried oregano

Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Put the vinegar, water, mustard, sugar and salt in a clean jar with a tight lid. Shake until the sugar and salt dissolve.
- 2
Add the garlic, oregano, basil, parsley, pepper and red pepper flakes.
- 3
Pour in the oil, seal the jar and shake hard for 30 seconds, until the dressing turns cloudy and thick.
- 4
Let it stand for 15 min so the dried herbs soften and release their flavor, then shake again.
- 5
Dip a fingertip in to taste, then adjust with more salt, pepper or a splash of vinegar.
- 6
Toss with a green salad, or spoon over a sub sandwich. Refrigerate for up to 5 days and shake before each use.
