9 ingredients
7 steps
What you need
- 250 g (2 cups) frozen mixed berries
- 1 large frozen banana, peeled and sliced before freezing
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) almond milk, plus a little more if needed
- 100 g (scant 1/2 cup) Greek yogurt
- 4 tbsp granola
- 4 strawberries, fresh, sliced
- 1 handful fresh blueberries
- 2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 tbsp almond butter
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Put two serving bowls in the freezer for 10 min while you blend. A cold bowl slows melting.
- 2
Pour the almond milk and Greek yogurt into a blender, then add the frozen berries and banana.
- 3
Blend on low, stopping to push the fruit down toward the blades if it sticks, then raise the speed to high. Blend until thick and smooth like soft-serve, 1-2 min.
- 4
If the blades spin without catching, add more almond milk 1 tbsp at a time. The mixture should hold a spoon upright.
- 5
Divide between the chilled bowls and smooth the tops.
- 6
Arrange the strawberries, blueberries, granola and coconut in rows on top, then drizzle with the almond butter.
- 7
Eat right away, since the bowl turns runny in about 10 min.
