5 ingredients
6 steps
What you need
- 100 g (1 cup) rolled oats, old-fashioned
- 130 g (1/2 cup) creamy peanut butter, the no-stir kind
- 4 tbsp honey
- 60 g (1/3 cup) mini chocolate chips
- 1 pinch salt
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Line a tray with parchment paper.
- 2
Put the oats, peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips and salt in a bowl and stir with a sturdy spatula until no dry oats remain. The mixture should be thick and hold together when squeezed.
- 3
If it feels sticky, chill the bowl for 15 min. If it crumbles, stir in another 1 tbsp of honey.
- 4
Scoop heaped teaspoons of the mixture, about 15 g each, and roll between your palms into balls about 3 cm (1 in) wide. This makes about 24.
- 5
Set the balls on the tray and chill for 30 min, until firm.
- 6
Keep in a covered container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 2 months.
