- 50 g (3 1/2 tbsp) butter, softened
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil

- 50 g (1/3 cup) raisins
Method
Restated from the original video
- 1
Heat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 2
Beat the powdered sugar, butter and oil in a large bowl for about 3 min, until smooth and paste-like.
- 3
Beat in the egg and vanilla until fully combined.
- 4
Stir in the flour with a spatula until no dry streaks remain. The dough is soft and sticky.
- 5
Toss the raisins with the 1 tbsp of flour so they separate and stay evenly spread, then fold them into the dough.
- 6
Drop heaped teaspoons of dough onto the tray, 2 cm (3/4 in) apart, since they spread as they bake.
- 7
Bake for 10-12 min, until the edges are light golden.
- 8
Cool on the tray for 2 min, then move the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. They crisp up as they cool.
