Cuban Sandwich
Cuban bread is layered with roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard, then pressed flat on a hot plancha until the cheese melts and the crust crisps.

Where it comes from
The sandwich formed among Cuban and Spanish workers in Tampa and Key West cigar factory towns in the late 1800s and early 1900s, combining ingredients available to immigrant communities on both sides of the Florida Straits.
What cooks argue about
Tampa versus Miami is the real fight: Tampa's version adds Genoa salami, Miami's does not, and cooks argue over whether that makes Tampa's the true original or a later addition.
Versions
Nobody has published a cuban sandwich here yet. When somebody cooks one from a video and publishes it, their version appears in this list, with a link back to the original.
